Valve Contact devices for mass-transfer equipment

The valves of a "Glitch" type are already more than 50 years and they for a long time require replacement by more efficient ones. Our devices offer to do it without radical change of technology and equipment for manufacture of columns with valve contact elements. More 50 inventions are developed.

There are the next groups of devices

1. Contact devices for opposite gas-liquid current with own zone of liquid flow in every device and with two zones of contact of phases (bubble and film) in every element. There are about 10 variants and versions. In comparison with traditional Glitch valves they provide higher gas velocity (F-factor up to 2.5), plate liquid density till 180 m3/m2hour at high efficiency of mass-transfer  (at a level "Glitch" and above on 10-15  %).

These devices are intended for realization for processes of absorption at high "liquid - gas" ratio, for example, at bromine absorption by water, gas cleaning, etc.

     2. Liquids inject valve contact devices with re-circulation of a gas-liquid mix through contact device and co-knocking of flows. In difference of usual bubble device generated beforehand biphase flow is going in a liquid. Provide the large time of contact of a liquid with gas, high efficiency of contact of phases, high flexibility (as at increase of loading on gas is increased a time of circulation of a liquid through contact unit). Are intended for absorption equipment with parallel proceeding chemical reaction and gas-liquid chemical reactors.

     3. Oscillating and pulsing valve contact devices ensuring imposing of fluctuations on contacting phases of optimum frequency. It results in improvement of the hydrodynamic characteristics and efficiency of phase contact.

     4. One direction gas-liquid devices with repeated (multiply) inversion of phases. These devices do not excel in the world on flexibility, efficiency and throughput. The realizations of chemical reactions are intended first of all for clearing gases.

     5. Polymeric (Teflon) valve contact apparatuses for reception of high cleaning substances (micro-radio-electronics, fiber optics, etc.).
